My Story…
I'm excited to take on this challenge in support of the men, women and families who serve and sacrifice so much for our freedoms. Every veteran and their family deserves the opportunities that Heroes In Transition provides! HIT is an outstanding organization delivering life-changing programs that make you proud to be an American.
I'm a lifelong athlete but NOT a runner - yet I figured 56 is a great age to get out of my comfort zone and put myself to the test (along with my favorite son!) to raise money for this great cause. I appreciate any support you can provide and if you are able to, please share the name of the veteran or service member you are donating on behalf of as I'd be honored to carry their name with me on my run.
