I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
I am once again running the Falmouth Road race in support of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation and the great work they do supporting cancer patients throughout New England.
I ran my first marathon in 2013 in support of JAF, and I am thrilled to be supporting the foundation once again this year. The money you donate will help JAF provide financial support to those fighting cancer while also helping to provide support services for children with cancer and fund cancer reasearch.
Description
JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
