Help Gina raise money

For participating in The 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation

We are running the Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.  All money raised will go directly to New England families who are facing financial insecurities related to their cancer diagnosis and treatment.

We are running in memory of Michael Vito Lombardo.  Michael passed from a rare T cell Lymphoma on July 6, 2024 at the age of 37.  Michael leaves behind an incredible legacy for his two young daughters, Sophia (11) and Olivia (7), his loving wife, Jessica, devoted family, and his company GlideFast Consulting, as well as many close friends and colleagues.

Michael loved his family and friends beyond words, lived every day life to the utmost fullest, was strong, confident, never took things too seriously, always had fun, laughed his way through life, worked really hard, loved really hard, and gave way more than he took.  Mike's passion for philanthropy grew in the latter years of his life and he hoped to have more time to give back and help people in need.

We are carrying that torch forward for Mike- help us make a difference. Cancer is pure evil and likely has affected each of our lives.  It's relentless and an enemy that you truly have to go to war with to beat. Fighting cancer is hard enough, worrying about paying the bills while fighting cancer is unacceptable.

Let's work together to take that burden away so cancer patients can focus on their fight.

As Michael would say LFGGGG!!!!

We love you always and forever, Michael.  Every step is for you.

Description

JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
