Tommy's Place is a nonprofit that owns and operates year-round magical vacation homes for kids and their families fighting cancer. They have 2 homes located in Falmouth and Centerville, MA on Cape Cod. Tommy's Place is crafted to bring smiles and laughter to those who need it most. The mission of Tommy's Place goes beyond just providing a physical space; it aims to foster a community of support and comfort. Through the generosity of donors and volunteers, Tommy's Place continues to be a beacon of hope and happiness, ensuring that children with cancer and their families have a special and safe place to call their own during their toughest journey. I am so blessed to be able to run this years Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Tommy's Place, a home that has provided TEAM AVA with so many uplifting memories!

Over this past April break, Ava and our family were able to spend a FREE week at Tommy's Place where we enjoyed time doing arts and crafts, karaoke, musical instruments, movies, video games, hide and seek, outdoor games, puppet shows, cooking, and so much more! This amazing house provides kids like Ava and her brother Michael with a reason to smile, laugh, and most importantly: TO BE KIDS. These are the moments we cherish during this awful fight.
