I completed the Falmouth road race today and was able to meet my goal for "Dogs for Better Lives" DFBL https://dogsforbetterlives.org/
I am so grateful to all of you for supporting this cause.
Description
Dogs for Better Lives trains and places Assistance Dogs free of charge with deaf or hard-of-hearing adults, children diagnosed with autism, and licensed professionals working with vulnerable communities so people with disabilities can lead safer and more independent lives. Our Northeast Training Campus opened in 2022 in Falmouth, and we're very excited to have a team of runners in the 52nd Falmouth Road Race, for a third year!
The average cost to train a service dog is $54,000 but we place our dogs at zero cost to our clients. Every dollar you raise for Dogs for Better Lives will go programmatic expenses.
