My Story…
Hi for those who don’t know me my name is Brayden DeBarros. I’ve been a Falmouth resident all 15years of my life. I currently attend Sturgis Charter Public High School. I have received various accolades throughout my life, including PEOPLE MAGAZINE the one that has defined the type of person I am. I am currently a Team Chase Foundation ambassador. Team Chase Foundation is a 501C3 non-profit organization targeting youth athletics and education initiatives, we also do community outreach projects. At Falmouth High school where Chase attended, Team Chase Foundation gives away scholarships to people that represents Chase’s soul. Chase Soares was not only a brother to me but a mentor teaching me resilience and dedication but most importantly to be kind. Chase’s dedication for basketball was very direct, he would practice hours on end unfortunately we lost Chase in 2020 in a tragic car accident. My journey running started after he passed I’d run up and down the street for miles helping me find peace. I hope to complete my second road race in a better time from the guidance of Chase telling me his famous line “ Let’s Get It Let’s Go”. I did raise the most money last year so let’s do it againI hope everyone will support. God Bless.
