I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
I am running the 2024 Falmouth Road Race in honor of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, which provides assistance and comfort to those affected by cancer. This is a cause close to my heart as I have personally witnessed the effects of cancer on families. Because of this, I am running for those fighting every day, who deserve as much care and comfort as possible.
Description
JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
