Hello family, friends and colleagues! I am proud to share that I am running the 2024 Asics Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 18th to support the Alzheimer's Association! I have seen the devastating effects of this horrible disease. I run to honor and remember all those affected. I run for the first survivor. Currently there are more than 6 Million Americans living with Alzheimer's and over 11 Million people providing unpaid care for them. This disease will cost the US over $345 Billion in 2024. It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. 1 in 3 seniors die from it, two thirds of those living with Alzheimer's are women, and one in five women over 45 will be diagnosed.
