I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
Hi all! I’m Brendan and I’m running the 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF).
The Foundation’s work is one that’s near and dear to my heart—as having witness cancer impact my family and seeing firsthand the magic of JAF. For those unfamiliar with JAF and its mission, the Foundation provides assistance to New England cancer patients of all ages and cancer types who are facing day-to-day financial hardships because of their diagnosis. As someone who had the privilege of writing about these patients’ inspiring stories on a regular basis, I can tell you that your contributions are truly making a difference in someone’s life. From helping keep a patient’s house warm to treatment transportation to helping put food on the table and more, JAF’s work has an actual and lasting impact for those undergoing a cancer journey.
Please join me in providing help, hope, and a reason to smile, to cancer patients all across New England by supporting my and JAF’s fundraising efforts today!
Description
JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
Thank you in advance for your support!
