I am thrilled to announce that I will be participating in the 2024 Falmouth Road Race as a proud member of Team Hoyt. This will be my first time running this iconic race, and I couldn’t be more excited to combine my passion for running with my dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities.

A year ago, I embarked on my running journey, and it has been transformative for my health and well-being. But this journey is about more than just personal growth; it’s about making a difference in the lives of others. As a special education teacher, currently pursuing my master’s degree, I have the privilege of working at the same elementary school with some of the educators who inspired my passion for education and advocating for individuals with disabilities.

Team Hoyt is an incredible organization that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities through sports. Inspired by the iconic father-son duo, Dick and Rick Hoyt, the team works tirelessly to create opportunities for people of all abilities to participate in athletic events, fostering a spirit of inclusion, perseverance, and community.

I have set a fundraising goal of $2,000 for this race, and I am reaching out to you for your support. Your donation will not only help me achieve this goal but also contribute to the invaluable work Team Hoyt does in promoting inclusivity and providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience the joy of sports.
