I'm running the 52nd ASICS Falmouth Road Race for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation
It’s that time of year again! I am going to be lacing up my running shoes with my sister Dawn to raise money for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation! This foundation is very close to my heart as they have touched my family’s heart when my sister was diagnosed with colon cancer. We have always taken the time to run this amazing race and help raise money for a wonderful cause!
Description
JAF is committed to providing assistance to patients of all ages, any cancer, throughout New England who are struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis. JAF understands that everyday living expenses don’t stop because of a diagnosis, and JAF provides various programs to help patients make ends meet. Because patients and families must often devote all their energy and resources toward treatment, the Foundation helps alleviate financial and emotional stress by providing grants to assist with rent/mortgage, transportation to treatment, food, and more. Through our Assistance Programs and Wellness Assistance, the grant recipients can focus on their cancer treatment and not the financial distress that comes with it.
