Hello - thank you for supporting my Falmouth Road Race run! I haven't run the course since... 2016??! And I am coming back to run (or maybe walk some) this year to support the League of Women Voters. Why? This amazing organization Empowers Voters and Defends Democracy. It ties right in with the spirit of this race - working together to support the common good.Any donation you make will go directly to the Falmouth and Massachusetts leagues to support our work.

Description
The League of Women Voters MA (LWVMA) has been a respected and trusted voice for citizen participation in our democracy for over 104 years. With 43 local Leagues throughout the state and with over 3,000 members, LVWMA has been at the forefront of efforts to empower and educate MA voters and effect change on a wide range of issues including election laws and campaign finance, natural resources and the environment, women’s health, children’s issues, state budget and finances, public education, and public safety. We are women and men making a difference in the political future of our communities, state, and country.
LWV Falmouth is 150 members strong and known for providing access to key voter information through events such as Candidates Nights, informing voters, and getting out the vote for all elections, local and national, and engage community members to participate actively in our local government through education advocacy.
