Welcome to my page!

My name is Gina Bither and I have been an avid runner for most of my life. As I turned 40 this year, I decided to set some new goals and take on some exciting local races. Just a month ago, I ran two half marathons in less than 4 weeks time. I also had the opportunity to run the Cathleen Stone Island 2k Trail race, with a great team of my co-workers from Creative Office Resources. 

Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound (formerly known as Thompson Island Outward Bound) is an education center located in the heart of the Boston Harbor with a core mission of building stronger, more equitable school communities by delivering free experiential learning programs that boost academic success and foster personal growth. 

As I learned more about this organization, I realized how important it is to give all kids the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in outdoor programs held on this beautiful island. All youths should have the chance to experience exercise and teamwork surrounded by nature. 

I have run the Falmouth Road Race quite a few times in my running career, and I am excited to run it this year supporting an awesome local organization.

All funds raised by our 2024 Falmouth Road Race team go directly toward supporting these programs and keeping them free and accessible to our students. We couldn't do this important work without your help!
