I am so excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race this August for NF Northeast! This organization is very special to me, as my brother Michael was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis 2 in 2018. NF Northeast has a huge impact on research funding and patient resources for such a rare neurological condition and I could not be more thrilled to be running for such an amazing organization!

More than 100,000 Americans are living with neurofibromatosis, and it affects over 2 million people worldwide. Symptoms can differ greatly in occurrence, severity, and age of appearance between patients. This makes NF difficult to identify and diagnose. If NF is suspected, genetic testing is typically the most appropriate way to diagnose it.
