Welcome to my 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race Page!
On August 18, 2024, my partner Daniel and I will be participating in the 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race in Falmouth, MA as members of the National Brain Tumor Society’s Gray Nation Endurance Team! We are running the 7 miles and fundraising in memory of my Dad, Dr. Kevin Gebert, who passed away from GBM 5 years ago. He was 68 years old.
Daniel and I are continually amazed to learn how many of our friends, family, and colleagues have lost loved ones to GBM – a devastating brain tumor which has no cure. A cancer diagnosis is often accompanied by words like “fight” and “battle,” implying that if you fight hard enough, or battle long enough, you might be able to beat cancer. As it stands right now, there is no beating GBM. The National Brain Tumor Society is working to change this narrative by funding research into better, more effective treatment options for GBM and hopefully, an eventual cure. With your support, we can help the NBTS realize this goal.

Being a part of this amazing team has given me the opportunity to continue my Dad's legacy of helping others in a profound way. He meant so much to so many, and I know he would be incredibly touched and humbled by your support.
