Words cannot begin to explain how much patience, peace, compassion, and guidance my family has received from the amazing team at CCALS. Ron, the founder, has personally come to our home multiple times - whether it was to bring my dad equipment, advocate for my family, or guide us to make informed decisions. Through it all, he has always met us with thoughtfulness and warmth, which is not a big shock given his experience helping countless others navigate their ALS journey. As for the rest of the team (Deborah, Brenda, Jason, Martha, Erin, and many more), there are not enough thank yous for helping us better understand our new reality and dynamic together. From inviting us to stay at the beautiful CCALS sanctuary where we laughed into the night, to helping us fill out endless paperwork, recommending the right equipment, suggesting treatment options, and to wholeheartedly welcoming us to the many support groups the organization provides. You all are true heroes!

MGH team of doctors, nurses, security and valet staff, every nurse, PT, OT, equipment mechanic, trainer, instructor, acupuncturist, nutritionist, and aid.
Lastly, thank you to the countless friends and family who have healed us with your generosity, time, laughter, mental and physical strength, and of course insanely delicious meals. Each and every one of you have lifted us up in the most beautiful way with your love and support. Despite this difficult time in our lives, I know my family and I are stronger than ever.
Description
CCALS offers an innovative and holistic range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with ALS and their families. The services we offer are typically not covered by insurance. CCALS works with families in New England, across the United States, and internationally. The organization provides resources including equipment, educational workshops, Medicaid assistance, guidance and awareness in living with ALS, caregiving, and end-of-life issues. All funds raised through the Falmouth Road Race go directly to assisting families with ALS.
