OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!
JK is running in memory of Uncle Phelim Kerin and close family friend Fla Harrington.
Uncle Phelim
From a very young age until JK's mid-twenties Phelim was his coach in Football and Rugby and even Track and Field (through the community games). Phelim dedicated so much time and energy into the teams he coached. He was a great mentor for JK and his teammates, especially in their formative years. One of the reasons JK is so passionate about being a team player in everything he does is because of Phelim.
JK is very proud to represent his memory whilst running this race.
Fla
Throughout the years Fla was a great friend and support to JK's parents. On the farm (as a great vet) and off the farm (as a tiger card player) :-) . JK is very proud to honor his memory.
JK would appreciate your support to help the ALS ONE foundation who are driving new research and care support to anyone managing through this condition.
