Thank you for visiting my fundraiser page! I am thrilled to be running the 2024 Falmouth Road Race with my daughter- Hailey by my side!
We are raising money for the Michael Lisnow Respite Center in Hopkinton, MA. As described below the center does provide "respite" for families of children with disabilities, but it also symbolizes something much more... Community.
Respite Center for disabled thrives on community support for 25 years - Hopkinton Independent
It began when an exhausted mother of a 16 week premature Michael Lisnow and her best friend came up with the idea to build a daycare for children with special needs so their families could work. With very limited resources, the community and surrounding small businesses donated their time, money and materials to create a sprawling 8,000sq ft "home away from home" for it's attendees.
The Michael Lisnow Respite Center operates largely on funds raised during marathons such as the Falmouth Road Race! Anything you can donate will get me that much closer to helping me reach my goal!

The Michael Lisnow Respite Center is a home away from home for children and adults with disabilities, a place that offers parents time off from the emotional and physical care needed by their children.
100% of the proceeds will benefit the Michael Lisnow Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to children in our daycare whose families cannot afford services. Every dollar counts!
