Help us raise money

For participating in The 2024 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

Our story…

Fourteen years and we are still running strong for a cure!

The MINDlink Foundation supports the Massachusetts General Hospital Ataxia Center and the research program spearheaded by Dr. Jeremy Schmahmann.

We are a Center of Excellence of the National Ataxia Foundation and the Multiple System Atrophy Coalition, because of the care we provide to patients and families with cerebellar ataxia and related diseases.

Diseases of the cerebellum disrupt motor control, cognitive health, and emotional wellbeing throughout the lifespan. Research is key to unlocking the mysteries of these diseases, and funding is the critical driver that enables this research.

Philanthropy has powered Dr. Schmahmann’s clinical and research program over the years. Thanks to the efforts of our running teammates in the Falmouth Road Race, we have raised over $560,000 over the years for MINDlink. This support has enabled the Schmahmann Lab to produce ground-breaking science that continues to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, and to patients with cerebellar ataxias and related disorders around the world.

We thank you for anything that you can do to help reach our goal of making 2024 a banner year for fundraising and for advances in the research, care, and cure of patients with disorders related to the cerebellum and ataxia.
