Join us at our 4th Annual Bigfoot 5k Race in beautiful Metaline Falls, WA! The course will take you from downtown Metaline Falls, up and down Lehigh Hill with gorgeous mountain views, past the historic Cutter Theatre, along the beautiful Pend Oreille river, and finish at the town's Busta Park.
After the event, join in at the fun festivities of the Metaline Falls Bigfoot Festival! There will be vendors, food, and entertainment!
A virtual race option is also available and swag will be mailed to you after the race!
Registration fee includes:

- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medals for men's and women's categories
NEW EVENT! There will also be a Bigfoot Kids Color Run on Friday, June 14th at the Metaline Park for $10. It's a separate registration and includes a white shirt that will be covered with color during the run. This race is for kids 13 and under and is either 1/2 mile or 1 mile. Race packet pickup for this event will be between 5:30-6:30pm at the Metaline Park on June 14. This race is untimed and just for fun and for the color! Register for the Color Run by June 2 to get a race shirt. If you register after June 2, plan to wear a white shirt to get sprayed with color!
Online Registration for the Color Run closes June 13. You may register onsite in the Metaline Park between 5:30-6:30pm for $10 cash. No shirts will be issued for onsite registrants.

Bigfoot 5k Event Details
This year marks the 4th annual running of the Metaline Falls Bigfoot 5k! Collectable finisher medals will again be given, but this year they are going to be bigger and better and you don't want to miss out on these amazing medals! To receive your medal please ensure that your race bib is visible as you cross the finish line. Runners and walkers will start and end their race on 4th Avenue near Busta Park. The first mile is up the grueling, but beautiful Lehigh Hill, followed by the second mile all downhill back to town. The third mile takes racers around picturesque Metaline Falls where you might be tempted to stop and take a few pictures of the mountains, river, or historic buildings along the route. At the finish line you will receive your medal and refreshments.
An awards ceremony will take place around 9am in Busta Park. Be sure to check out the wonderful Bigfoot Festival vendors after the race. There will be a multitude of shopping and food options available.
Bigfoot 5k Packet Pickup
Bigfoot 5k Race Packet Pickup will take place on Friday and Saturday at Busta Park in Metaline Falls. We strongly encourage runners to attend the Friday packet pick-up to make your race morning less stressful. At packet pickup you will be able to retrieve your race bib and your shirt (if applicable).
Race packet pickup times are as follows:
- Pre-race Packet Pickup: Friday, June 14 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Busta Park
- Race day Packet Pickup: Saturday, June 15 from 6:00 - 7:30 am at Busta Park

Bigfoot 5k Shirts
Long-sleeve tech shirts with the 2024 Metaline Falls Bigfoot 5k logo will be provided to all registrants. Those that register on or after May 30, 2024 may not receive a shirt on race day, but the shirts will be mailed out after the event.
Bigfoot 5k Finisher Medals
Finisher Medals will again be given out to those who finish the run. To receive your medal please ensure that your race bib is visible as you cross the finish line. The race medals will be bigger and better for 2024! A collector's item for sure!
Bigfoot 5k Virtual Race Details
Participate in the Bigfoot 5k from any location! Your shirt and finisher medal will be mailed to you after race day (June 15, 2024).
Note: Your race time will not be recorded in the official results.
Bigfoot Kids Color Run - Friday, June 14th at the Metaline Park
WHERE: Join us for a Kids Color Run on Friday, June 14 at 6:30pm in the Metaline Park (yes, that's Metaline and not Metaline Falls).
DISTANCE: The distance will be either 1 mile or 1/2 mile (you choose based on your abilities).
AGES: Ages 13 and under welcome and parents can participate with their small kiddos too. Parents don't need to register.
SWAG: All participants will receive a white Bigfoot Color Run shirt to wear during the event to get covered with color throughout the race if registered by June 2nd! If you register after June 2, plan to bring your own white shirt to wear during the race.
