We look forward to hosting you this Sunday, Feb. 18th at the 7th annual Bootlegger 10K Trail Race. Sunday’s race will be held in the upper portion of Creve Coeur Memorial Lake Park near Go Ape. Please read below for important information regarding race weekend.
Packet Pickup
Participants can pick up their bib and race shirt (if purchased) on Saturday, February 17th at Fleet Feet Des Peres from 10am-5pm. Race morning packet pickup opens at 7:45am at the race site near Go Ape!
Parking
Those who purchased the VIP parking in the upper lot should have received an email with their VIP parking pass. Please contact us if you did not receive the pass. If you chose the free parking option, you will need to park in the lower lots of Creve Coeur Park off Marine Avenue. You'll then take the stairs up to the upper portion of the park to the pre-race area near Go Ape! Please refer to our parking map for reference.
If you want to save your legs and skip the stairs, we do still have VIP spots in the upper lot for sale. You can purchase them here. You'll need to log into your Race Roster account or provide your confirmation number to link it to your registration. If you purchase a VIP pass, please reply to this email to get your VIP parking pass.
Course
This course is designed for a single mass start at 8:30am, with a 1.5 mile loop on Streetcar Drive to space out the field before jumping onto the trail for the rest of the race. There will be restrooms available at the start/finish area. The course will be clearly marked with yellow flagging staked into the ground, some direction signage and course marshals. The flagging and directional signage will keep you on course, and the course marshals will keep you safe. Please take note of the signs warning of the couple of road crossings along the course.
Post Race & Results
Once you've conquered the rolling hills of Bootlegger's Run Trail, enjoy some soft pretzels, snacks, water and free beer provided by 1st Drafts STL. Results will be texted to participants shortly after crossing the finish line, and can also be viewed on our results page. We will do an awards ceremony for the overall winners and the top age group finishers around 10-10:15am. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three male and female finishers in ten-year age groups.
Please wear your race number visibly on the front of your torso to ensure your timing chip works. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED to participate in the race. Please check the weather and plan to dress appropriately before, during, and after the race.
