What is the Run for Life?
Run for Life is an event for anyone with lived experience of suicide and those passionate about suicide prevention. Participants are invited to join Centre for Suicide Prevention on a journey from darkness into light by completing any physical activity from September 21 - 28, 2024.
How can I register?

Can I donate to the cause?

How will I get my race kit?
Your race kit will be ready in August 2024. Please provide a current mailing address with contact information when you register online if you would like the kit mailed to you.
You can e-mail us at runforlife@suicideinfo.ca to let us know you want to pick up your race kit at our offices on Friday, Sept. 20th, 2024. Our offices are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

When is the last day I can order a Race Kit?
The last day to order your Race Kit is midnight on Monday, Sept. 16th. Please allow for 2-7 days of delivery within Canada.
Where will I be able to pick up my race kit?
Curbside pickup will be at Centre for Suicide Prevention's offices: 105 12 Ave SE Calgary, AB T2G 1A1 on Friday, Sept. 20th, 2024. Our offices are open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
How can I submit a photo of a loved one for the memorial video?
If you’ve lost a loved one to suicide, send their name and photo to runforlife@suicideinfo.ca or when you register by Saturday, Sept. 7th so we can commemorate them in an event video.

Join us once again this year on the closing day of Run for Life at the East Village Riverwalk next to the Simmons Building and George C. King Bridge. This is a pop-up gathering spot to connect with other Run for Life participants for walking, running, commemoration and conversation. Bring your furry team members for a tasty dog treat, too! Everyone is welcome!
Volunteer Run Captains will host casual 5 KM and 10 KM route (meet-up stations beginning from the Welcome Tent). Enjoy complimentary water and post-run snacks.
At 11:00 am, we’ll host a 1 KM memorial walk starting from the Welcome Tent in East Village.
Various communities and workplaces are also hosting their own Run for Life events across Canada.
