Our story…
From Darkness into Light. Rylan Wagner (September 26, 2002 - July 15, 2021) - your light shines on!
Join us on Friday, September 27th at Athabasca University (East side of the building lot B near the stairs and trail look out) over your lunch hour.
There is no mass start...come when your lunch hour allows between 11 and 2. You can chose the 2km or 5km trail or even just enjoy a walk around campus. There will be a fundraising BBQ and donations will be collected onsite.
Together we are keeping the conversations going, raising awareness, remembering loved ones and carrying a light forward.
Help me reach our goal of $5000.00
All funds raised via team "Carrying Rylan's Light Forward" will be used to bring an ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) session here in Athabasca (free to community members). ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid that teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
