Countdown to event
Flow MTB Magazine have called the Sapphire Coast “totally unique” in terms of the landscape offered at Eden for one of the biggest new trail builds currently underway in Australia. The region is a tourist mecca, best known for the killer whales that frequent the coastline, hence the event name of “The Orca”.
Contour Works have won the contract and are busy building more than 50km of new single trail at Eden on NSWs south coast, the crew behind the brilliant trails built at Derby, Smithfield and Mount Buller. The area behind the golf course offers not only a heap of elevation to work with but amazing views back over the coast and also a bunch of natural rock slabs and creeks and streams to incorporate into the trail build. From what we have seen already on social media these trails are going to be amazing.
