The Snow Queen Frost February 5k/10K is back!
Join us for the 6th annual event! This year, we're headed back to the Riverwalk, starting and ending at the Cañon City Area Recreation and Parks District's Community Room. The 5K and 10K courses will head west on the Riverwalk, highlighting beautiful views of the river, the mountains, and surrounding landscapes. These courses are flat, wide, and perfect for runners, joggers, walkers, and rollers of all abilities. (Please note that aid stations and the finish line will close at 10:30 am. Please choose the course that is most appropriate for your expected finishing time.)
Wear your tutus, tiaras, and fancy socks! We welcome and encourage groups of friends, co-workers, family members, and teams to dress up in whatever creative, fun, beautiful costumes you'd like to wear. We don't give out age-group awards for the fastest finishers, but we do have LOTS of wonderful door prizes picked at random. All participants also receive a swag bag with fun items.
Registration fees include: race entry, door prize ticket, tasty to-go breakfast treats, timing, and commemorative bib. Registration is limited to 200 participants, so sign up early - starting on December 11th! A $10 discount is available to youth ages 18 and under (applied at checkout). Please note that there is NO sit-down breakfast this year.
This year the event does NOT include a sit-down breakfast.

The 5K course leaves from the Cañon City Area Recreation and Park District's Community room, heads west on the Riverwalk, and turns around near the 9th Street Bridge. Note that your registration includes: swag bag, snack items, aid stations, bib, and timing. It does NOT include your shirt. Please add your option on at registration.
