This event is not just a race; it's a celebration of the vibrant Austin spirit. Participants form teams of four, each runner completing a 2.5-mile loop from a central festival/transition area.
After the race, enjoy the festival featuring beats by DJ Mel, sponsored drinks, and as always, a Tacodeli dinner.
All proceeds from the event benefit Marathon Kids, a national, Austin-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering the next generation of runners. New this year, teams will have the opportunity to fundraise for Marathon Kids, with the team that raises the most money winning our "Running With Purpose" award!
Additionally, we look forward to awarding our fastest teams with the Zilker Cup again this year!

Relay teams are made up of four team members. As the Captain, you are responsible for creating your team and inviting teammates to join. Registration includes a Zilker Relays event t-shirt, Tacodeli dinner plate and beer garden access for each team member.
