The Daisy Dash is a family-friendly event that features timed 5K and 10K distances and a fun Marathon Kids Dash! Both the 5K and 10K start and finish at Daisy Dash Field in southwest Austin. This flat and fast loop course runs through the beautiful City of Sunset Valley, with 5K runners completing one loop and 10K runners completing two loops. The Marathon Kids Dash is an out-and-back along Ernest Robles with the same start and finish line as the main race. Once you cross the finish line, enjoy our finisher’s party and celebrate your accomplishments!
Did you know the Daisy Dash is Austin's oldest 5k race?
Created in response to races like the Boston Marathon excluding women, Daisy Dash began as a women-only event celebrating female runners. While both races are now open to everyone, we honor that legacy by making the 2025 Daisy Dash beneficiary The Girls Movement, a Marathon Kids program. This empowering initiative supports young girls through running, promoting physical activity, building confidence, and offering practical resources—like free first sports bra fittings.

There will be no race day packet pickup. If you’re unable to make it to packet pick-up yourself, a friend or family member can pick it up for you with a copy of your ID.
