Daisy Dash

The Daisy Dash is a family-friendly event that features timed 5K and 10K distances and a fun Marathon Kids Dash! Both the 5K and 10K start and finish at Daisy Dash Field in southwest Austin. This flat and fast loop course runs through the beautiful City of Sunset Valley, with 5K runners completing one loop and 10K runners completing two loops. The Marathon Kids Dash is an out-and-back along Ernest Robles with the same start and finish line as the main race. Once you cross the finish line, enjoy our finisher’s party and celebrate your accomplishments!

Did you know the Daisy Dash is Austin's oldest 5k race? Originally, it was launched as an only women's event in response to races like the Boston Marathon, which originally only allowed male participants. It was named the Daisy 5k because every finisher received a daisy as a symbol of achievement!
