Miles for Migraine - Family Education Series

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH, 2024
9:00AM - 3:00PM MOUNTAIN TIME
Miles for Migraine, in collaboration with the U.S. Pain Foundation and Phoenix Children's, has developed a one-day in-person experiential and educational program. This event will provide information while easing the isolation of children with chronic migraine and pain while educating parents.
Program Elements
The program will provide an opportunity to meet other children and families who live with migraine and pain in an environment of support and understanding.
Introduction to skills to assist with pain relief such as pet therapy, art therapy, and yoga among others.
It is the first of its kind held in an environment to discuss the challenges facing the entire family while children who live with migraine and pain can develop community and coping skills.
Suitable for ages 11+ with a parent/caretaker. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. If you have any dietary restrictions please contact sarah@milesformigraine.org.
