It's that time again! Today, I'm beyond honored to announce that I'm an ambassador for the Project Purple 2024 fundraising season. Twelve years after the passing of my mom, Patti, we continue to fight for her and all of those affected by pancreatic cancer. Those who knew Patti knew she was one of the most compassionate and loving people on the planet. When my mother walked into a room, you knew it, and you smiled. She was loud, funny, exceptionally beautiful, and loving to her core. In 2011, she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, with little to no symptoms before her diagnosis. Three months later she succumbed to the disease, taken from us way too soon and without much time to prepare for such a devastating loss. Since then, I've done everything in my power to honor her memory and prevent other families from feeling the loss I felt over 12 years ago. That kind of loss follows you through life. For me, it's a motivating force that drives me to be involved in this wonderful organization. Please help us to honor Patti's memory and join my team for Purple Paddy's 5k!
