Race Day - Saturday, May 18
Race Location – Mansfield Outdoor Centre
Bib Pickup - available at race site beginning at 8:00am
Race day timeline - 25K begins at 9:00am, 10K begins at 9:30am, 5K begins @ 10:00am, Awards @ 11:00am (approximately)
Parking is free, please follow marshals for parking location.
Course is marked with colour coordinated flags that match your bib colour – orange for 10K, blue for 5K. 25K is pink and will be completing 2 loops of the 10K and 1 loop of the 5K - in that order. We will be marking your bibs after each completed loop at the start/finish so that you know which loop to follow.
Cup-Free/Aid Stations– This is a CUP-FREE event! Thanks to our partner, Hydrapak, each runner will receive a FREE Speed Cup at race kit pickup, designed to be used during and after the race.
There will be water and Skratch electrolytes at the start line and at the aid station on course which is at approx. 4.5K mark – not quite halfway for the 10K, almost at the end of the 5K so be sure to start your race with some liquids! 25K’ers will have access to another aid station at the start/finish line with salty, sweet and carb snacks, water/electrolytes – you can place anything you need to access between loops in this tented area.
Awards - we have some 'gold' themed awards for our top 3 male/female finishers in each distance. Your bib is chip timed; awards are based on overall finish time. The award ceremony will take place at approximately 11:00am and continue on.
Post Race – we will have some snacks for you after the race. Mansfield Outdoor Centre has lots of picnic tables and open areas if you’d like to spend some time relaxing or exploring. They will also have a BBQ should you need some post run protein - so bring some extra cash (they take cards too)!
Weather – Spring in Ontario can present all sorts of challenges. Come prepared for rain, sun and black flies (not necessarily in that order), we have begun our sun dance as there is rain in the forecast.
Please take a moment to thank our awesome volunteers when you see them because without them, there is no race.
See you on race day!
Jodi & Norman

We love a good theme for our events and this one is no exception!
There's gold in them hills
The Lost Treasure Trail Race is inspired by the legend of none other than Jesse James, the American Outlaw.
Rumour has it that Jesse wanted to escape the long arm of the law in the US so he decided to bring his recently acquired gold coin fortune up to Canada to hide out with his relatives in Mulmur.

25K RACE - 09:00am START
Stay tuned re course description - it will either be one big loop including a section in the Dufferin Forest (if we have enough participants) or loops that include both the 10K and 5K courses, that way, you'll hit the aid stations (and portapotty!) more frequently and see more of your fellow trail runners, woot!
*please note: as with all distances, the courses have been measured by GPS yet not all GPS's are created equal; your settings may not measure the waypoints as frequently, therefore you may encounter a difference in the total distance. Just know that it is as accurate as we could possibly make it!
10K RACE - 09:30am START
Before heading up into the single track, you will complete a loop around the base on wide, grassy trail. Then up you go, about 550 metres also on double wide, which leads into the winding single track. After you hit the aid station at approximately 4.5K, be prepared for some longer, steeper climbs but don't fret, you'll finish on a nice downhill!

5K RACE - 10:00am START
No time to waste as you start on a climb of about 550 metres on double wide trail. Once you hit the top, say hello to the winding single track that Mansfield is known for! Once you hit the aid station, it's a hard left that leads to the well deserved downhill to the finish!
