2024 VFAC Summerfast 10km

1. Race Package Pick-Up

Thursday, July 4th 2-7 PM,

Friday, July 5th 2-6:30 PM

at Forerunners Main St.

Out of towners may pick up their race packages on the morning of the race at the finish line area (Ceperley Picnic Area) from 6:00 AM - 7:15 AM.

You may pick up race packages for other racers provided you have a copy of their email confirmation for the race.

2. Race Weekend Registration is available at package pickup for $60. CASH ONLY.

3. Registration is non-refundable. Transfers will be permitted until online registration closes - use the Transfer option on your participant dashboard to transfer your entry to another person. Transfers will be subject to a $5 transfer fee.

4. Summerfast 10k Run Team Challenge sponsored by Freehouse Collective

The winning crew will get their names on the Run Crew trophy, a cake to share, Instagram recognition & bragging rights, and gift certificates for Freehouse Collective restaurants to celebrate the win.

• Points are calculated by the number of members finishing the event (1 point each) + additional points for the fastest teams.

• Fastest teams get points based on the sum of their top 6 athletes’ age graded % (1st=5, 2nd=3, 3rd=2, 4th=1)

• Second team will also be receiving a cake to share and refuel post race.

5. Elite entries

We encourage all elite athletes to register for Summerfast, however, subsidized elite entries cannot be supported at this time. Please note, however, that this event offers generous prize money to top 3 male and female finishers, in both overall and masters categories.

A very limited number of extra shirts in various sizes will be ordered on top of the pre-ordered quantities, and will be available for purchase at package pickup.

If you have already registered and would like to add a T-shirt to your order, please contact the race director. Please note that T-shirts cannot be added to your registration once the order window has closed.

At package pickup, athletes will receive a pair of Drymax socks*, discount coupons for Forerunners and Freehouse Collective restaurants, and other goodies TBD.

Summerfast 2024 is sold out, so race weekend registration will not be available.

Online registration closes at 11:59pm on July 2nd, 2024. After that you can still register in-person via cash at package pickup, or on race morning (entries close at 7:00 AM), if space permits.
