This is the 9th year Run for GRRCC is raising funds for the Grand River Region Cancer Centre!

We are proud to announce that this event is a sanctioned race by Athletics Ontario.

The Course:

Participants will run a 2.5km loop through a well marked trail forest at the Camp Heidelberg property in Kitchener Waterloo.

Out of the start-finish area you will run a fast, flat section passing our covered aid station towards Camp Heidelberg pond. The course is primarily made up of fast, groomed trails with some short but tougher and technical sections with rocks & roots and a few rolling hills spread-out along the loop. Each loop has approximately 45m elevation gain. Be ready for any weather conditions, October can bring rain or snow. There is plenty of room to set up a drop bag at the aid station area.

Choose 2 loops (5km), 4 loops (10km), 10 loops (25km), 20 loops (50km) or the 6hr option and enjoy a day on the trails with our generous cut off time (8hrs for the 50km participants)

All events will start at 8am.

Course closes at 4pm

This will be a CUP-LESS event, please bring a water bottle or bottles with you.

Plenty of parking for all participants.

Sorry, no dogs or pet’s allowed on Camp Heidelberg Property at any time.

Timing

All events will be electronically timed by Chiptime Results.

Aid Stations:

Runners can expect the usual staples; water, Tailwind electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks.

Pacers:

Sorry no pacers allowed on the course.

Post Race Food:

We understand that people have different dietary restrictions, needs, and preferences. Because of this, rather than include the cost of a post-race meal that you may or may not enjoy/ be able to eat, we do not include meals in our race registration fees.

Awards:

All participants will receive a finishers medal and other goodies.

Refund Policy:

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate refunds. Participants are welcome to transfer their bib to someone else without any penalty up to 5 days before the race. (We can also transfer the bib on race morning)
