2024 Trot To The Beach 20th Anniversary!

Hello and Happy Anniversary!!!


Trot is back again for it's 20th anniversary!!! We will have the 1/2 marathon starting in Blenheim at the arena and the 5km starting on Erie Shore drive and of course the Tot Trot!


This AMAZING event was started 20 years ago by John and Annie TeSligte and has carried on and now become CK's longest running, running event! Thank you John and Annie for creating this event and making it truly what it is today! You are legends!


Create a team and challenge friends and colleagues! Get dressed up or design some matching t-shirts and have some fun! Bring a bathing suit and hang out in the "Eau" and go swimming! This event is ALL about coming together ad having fun!


If you have a loved one that has passed away or is fighting a health battle you can celebrate and support them with a team. Even if your loved one can't be there we'll have a medal to honour or encourage them! (Please let us know if you'd like this)


There will be discounts for spreading the word and getting others to sign up as well as the chance to run for free* with $200 in donations/sponsors.


Proceeds for this years event will go to the Word of Life Church Soup Kitchen who served more than 7500 meals in 2023 and handed out literally tons of food and clothing to those in need. Some of the proceeds will also be used to help other local charities and families in need.


Last year you all helped raise more than $12,000 for our community! For an event run by one family and a handful of amazing volunteers, that is AMAZING!!! This year, being the 20th anniversary we are hoping to raise $20,000!!! It is a HUGE goal but we know


Despite the rising cost of, well, everything, we have kept the prices the same as 2023! We want to say a big thank you to the Ridge Community Landfill Trust for helping do this every year and always supporting local events like Trot to the beach!!!


Please take a minute and share this even on your social medial, in an email or even the old fashioned word of mouth! Every share makes a difference!


If anything happens and the event cannot take place for any reason, refunds will not be issued. Events can be completed virtually and medals and swag will be made available to all participants.
