This is year 3 for this event and we are excited to move into the season of spring!
Our first year our goal was to get the gym (Kut-N-Fit Wellness Club) off the ground: mission accomplished! Year two, we achieved a new milestone! We started a nonprofit organization called E.Y.E.S. Inc. The goal for the nonprofit was to fund a summer camp for our underserved kids in the community of Edwards, Ms. The acronym stands for Empowering our Youth Enriching our Seniors. Guess what? Mission accomplished once more and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of donors and participants!
This year we want to continue the work we started! We didn't only start the summer camp we want this to be annual to give our youth something to look forward to. We also had many functions with our seniors in the community. We did arts, crafts, as well as got them moving!
The goal of this walk is to create a sense of community, enrichment, and involvement in our small town to continue to motivate, inspire and enrich our town!
