40 for FORTEY

You are registering for the 2024 40 for Fortey Event.

Please note the following:

  • The 2024 40 for Fortey event is on Sunday 2nd June 2024.
  • Event commences in the Main Arena at the Toowoomba Showgrounds, cnr Glenvale Rd and Harvey Rd, Toowoomba.
  • Start time for the 40km event (individual and teams) is 6:30am
  • Start time for the 4km Remembrance Event is 8:00am
  • The 40km event has a minimum age of 11 as at 2nd June 2024 (unless accompanied on the lap by a registered adult)
  • The 40km event is 10 x 4km laps of Toowoomba Showgrounds. Teams can consist of 2-10 participants.
  • The 4km event consisted of 1 x 4km lap of Toowoomba Showgrounds.
  • Entry fees are $26.50 per participant (which includes the Race Roster booking fee).
  • For team entries - the nominated captain of each team will be required to register and set up the team name; individual team members will then be able to register and join their nominated team.
  • No dogs, bikes, scooter etc. are permitted on the course.
  • Prizes will be presented to the fastest 40km finisher, the fastest 40km solo finisher and fastest male and female 4km lap times (NB: 4km Remembrance Event is untimed and not eligible for prizes).
  • Advice regarding race pack collection will be forwarded to all registered participants via email and communicated via the '40 for Fortey' Facebook page in the week prior to the event.
  • There is ample parking at the Showgrounds. Please follow any signs or directions given by Marshalls.
  • The Race Director has the authority to delay or abandon the event due to adverse weather conditions that may affect the safety of runners.

40km SOLO Event Closed

Participants complete 10 x 4km as an individual.

Team entry for Schools Competition. Teams complete 10 x 4km laps, relay style. Teams can consist of 2-10 participants.

Participants complete 1 x 4km lap, walking or running. (NB: this event does not count towards the fastest lap prizes)
