Clifford Craig Foundation is Northern Tasmania’s community funding charity for the Launceston General Hospital, North-West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital. As the Burnie 10’s charity of choice, we encourage you to dig deep before your run to fundraise for this worthy local charity helping improve health outcomes for Northern Tasmanians, and attracting medical experts from across the globe to share their skills here in Tasmania. Your donations will fund medical research programs facilitated at Northern Tasmanian hospitals and go towards much-needed equipment updates.

Current programs include:

• Treatment trial for Motor Neuron Disease (MND)
• Probiotic preventative treatment trial testing the reduction of respiratory infections
• Type 2 Diabetes gene therapy testing fatty liver treatment effectiveness
• Breast cancer radiation treatment material improvements testing the reduction of breast augmentation
• Multiple Scelorsis (MS) magnetic brain stimulation treatment trial testing nervous system repair
