Thank you for your interest in the 8th Annual Florissa Family 5K and Fun Run! The focus of this event is to raise funds to support Florissa, the children’s division of Kreider Services which helps those with developmental, behavioral, social or emotional needs. Funds raised will directly support the programs at Florissa located at 144 North Court Dixon, IL
If you are unable to participate in this year’s 5K/Fun Run, you can still Support the Cause or you can purchase a gift registration for a runner or walker who is unable to afford the fee.
There are options to run the 5K or walk on an accessible route so everyone can join in the fun. Starts with a Fun Run for the kids ages 9 and under.
Get a team of co-workers or family and friends together and join the Team Challenge. A minimum of 5 runners/walkers per team. The finish times of the top five runners from each team will be combined. The team with the lowest combined score will receive top honors.
If you’re running/walking, ask others to join your Team and collect donations. Team with the highest amount of collected donations for Florissa will be recognized at the event. By participating, you will leave your impression on Florissa Center!

Event Information
Fun Run | 8:30am START
The Fun Run is FREE for kids 9 years and under. Run is a 6/10ths of a mile course on the grounds of Sauk Valley Community College. Day of registration for the Fun Run will begin at 7:30am. Each runner receives a race shirt, medal and goodie bag.
5K Run/Walk | 9:00am START
The 5K Run/Walk is a full 5K (3.1 miles) on the grounds of Sauk Valley Community College. Day of registration runs from 7:00 - 8:30am. Open to all ages from 6 years of age and up. Runners are Chip Timed. Awards will be given for seven age groups, male and female runners.
