Thank you for supporting the Young Athletes Foundation!
![]() | Grandma’s Marathon started the Young Athletes Foundation in 1990, and it has since become the marathon’s most prominent vehicle for giving back to the community. The mission of the Young Athletes Foundation is to support and build community by providing pathways of opportunity to youth through athletic programs and encouraging healthy lifestyles. Funds raised have made it possible for the YAF to provide 4,567 pairs of running shoes to area children in need, $1.1 million in grant and scholarship money to nonprofit youth athletic and recreational programs, and opportunities for hundreds of children annually to experience the joy of running via year-round free youth races. |
