8th Annual Hike for Hospice in Support of
Huron Shores Hospice!
About the Event
We are so excited to welcome our community to come together once again at the Davidson Centre for our 8th Annual Hike for Hospice. Funds raised from our Hike for Hospice will provide quality end-of-life care in our 2-bed hospice and support our Community Programs. 100% of the funds raised stay in our community!
Join us for our Hike for Hospice on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Rain or shine! This year, hike individually, rally together a team of friends and family, join our Corporate Challenge or challenge a friend or co-worker to help raise money for compassionate and dignified end-of-life care in our community.

- Location: Davidson Centre, Kincardine
- Start Time: 9:30 AM
- Kickoff: 10:00 AM
- Duration: 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- End Location: Davidson Centre
- Post-Hike: Prizes, activities, and the announcement of our grand total.

T-Shirt Availability
Thanks to our sponsor NPX, the first 200 in-person hikers will receive t-shirts. Please indicate your size during registration. T-shirts will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis and therefore we cannot guarantee sizing.
Team Challenge Ideas
Challenge your family, friends, and co-workers to join the Hike for Hospice with you. Register as a team, set fundraising goals, and organize fun challenges to reach them. Share your journey with the hashtag #HikeforHospice.
Challenge other teams: Compete to see who can complete their goal first. Post your bragging rights using our hashtag #HikeforHospice
How to Submit Funds:
- Online Donations: The easiest way to collect funds is to ask your supporters to donate online using your personal or team fundraising page.
*Please note credit card charges will either appear as: Huron Shores Hospice or Race Roster 8559695515*
- Offline Donations: If you wish to use the paper pledge form and collect cash or cheque pledges, please tally your pledges and include your name, email and phone number on the pledge form.
- Within one week of the event:
- Contact our Community Engagement Coordinator, Will LeGrand, at will@huronshorsehospice.ca to arrange drop-off or pick-up of your pledge form and money.
- Make cheques payable to Huron Shores Hospice and mail them along with your pledge form to: Huron Shores Hospice Box 250, 24 King Street Tiverton, ON N0G 2T0
- Please do not send cash in the mail. For cash donations, either write a personal cheque, highlighting the names and addresses of sponsors for tax donation purposes, or contact will@huronshoreshospice.ca for alternate arrangements.
