Participant Letter
IMPORTANT RACE DAY REMINDERS:
Parking: Parking will be available at the start/finish of the race (Archway)
Route volunteers: You will see volunteers throughout the route. If you need any medical attention let a volunteer know and they will get a member of our medical team to you as soon as possible. *Important note: The race will be marked, but please review maps.*
Water stops: Volunteers and water will be available throughout the race route.
Bikes: We will have lead bikes and SAG bikes for both races.
Race start/finish: The Kearney Archway
· Half Marathon-7:30 AM ($85)
. 10k-7:40 AM ($30)
· 5K-7:40 AM ($30)
Price Increase June 2nd
(*4 hours cut off time for Half Marathon*)
Chip timing system: This event is being officially timed by TIMERGUYS. Results will be available at the finish line, sent through text message or on the Kearney Family YMCA website. Results will also be emailed to you within 24 hours.
Awards: Prizes will be given to the TOP 3 male and female runners in each race. Medals will be awarded to all finishers.
Kearney Family YMCA Buffalo Stampede weather policy: In the event of inclement weather, refunds will not be given.
Packet Pick Up:
June 8th: 5:00-6:30pm at the Kearney Family YMCA, Community Kitchen
June 9th: 6:45am - 7:30am at the Kearney Archway
T-Shirt: To guarantee shirt and size, please register on or before June 1st, 2024
Hotel Room Block: LaQuinta Inn in Kearney (Discounted Rate of $149.95) for Saturday, June 8th. When booking, please make sure to mention the room block for Kearney Family YMCA Buffalo Stampede
