Following through on our pledge to the Green Runners (to minimize "stuff" that gets wasted in this world), we are not offering any swag BUT...we are donating money to the Colchester Food Bank which is far more useful than race swag in our opinion.
$20 from each paid registration goes to the Colchester Food Bank
( https://colchesterfoodbank.com/ )
As usual, we won't have any cups at the aid stations, so bring your own drinking vessel.

Race Day Details
Come camp out Friday night so you can roll out of your tent and on to the start line! No late starts will be permitted.
This course will deviate from the original route (2019 and earlier) around the 6.5km mark. From here you follow the ATV trail downhill before you start heading up the new climb (yet to be named). Eventually this ATV trail climb turns into singletrack, which will lead you back to the original course. You'll continue on the original route at the ~10k mark. Everything else on the 31k loop will be on the original course.
All distances start at 8:00am sharp.
Aid stations: There will be 1 aid station approximately 18k into the loop (Gerry's cabin -- see pic of Gerry's below), plus another aid station at the start/finish. These aid stations will have water, Coke, Tailwind and regular aid station fare.
**No cups as usual, so bring your own drinking do-hickey.
Cut-off times: there will be a cut-off time for the 62k runners to start loop 2. You will need to start the 2nd loop no later than 1:00pm (5 hours race time).

Camping is in the parking lot/on the property of the snowmobile club. Get there early to claim your turf! :)

It is MANDATORY that the following gear is carried by everyone for the entire race:
1 charged up cell phone (with my phone number)

1 buff or toque
1L water bladder or 2 bottles/flasks, etc.
Drink and food for the loop.
**Random gear checks will be done. If you're missing gear on the course, you'll have to get it delivered or else you can't continue**
Volunteering
We'll be looking for a number of hardy volunteers, so if you can help out, or want to know more about the day, please sign up! Thanks! All volunteers are in for all the draw prizes and get a free race entry into the WW, Flyin' Nutz or Toboggan Run!
