Join SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) for our annual Walk/Run around Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, MN on August 3rd, 2024. This event is not just about miles covered; it's about coming together as a community to support one another and raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.

Whether you've personally struggled with suicidal ideation, lost a loved one to suicide, or simply want to show your support for those who have, this event is a powerful opportunity to connect with others who understand and empathize with your journey.

Our 5k and 10k routes wind through the beautiful scenery of Lake Harriet, offering participants a chance to reflect, remember, and find solace in the shared experience of those around them. Every step taken is a step towards breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and fostering a community of understanding and compassion.

Together, we can make a difference. Join us at Lake Harriet for a day of unity, remembrance, and hope as we honor those we've lost, support those who are struggling, and work towards a future where no one feels alone in their battle against suicide.

Proceeds from the race will benefit SAVE in our mission to prevent suicide through training, education, advocacy, and supporting suicide loss survivors. At the event, there will be a opportunity to share photos and written memories of loved ones lost to suicide. If you would like to share a photo in our "Loved Ones" display, please bring a copy of a photo you do not need returned with you to the event. We will provide art supplies to add messages or pictures.
