5K Walk/Run
Alpha Phi Alpha's Mission is to develop leaders, promote brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.
The Zeta Rho Lambda Chapter 5K Walk/Run is a community-driven event aimed at promoting health and wellness while raising funds for a noble cause. The proceeds from this event will directly contribute to supporting scholarships for deserving students, The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast, Project Alpha, Voter Registration, and Adopt-a-Family.
Race amenities include an event T-shirt to be given to the first 150 registrants along with participation medals. We will serve free hotdogs and hamburgers at the conclusion of the race.
We look forward to a successful event supporting our fraternity national programs.
Zeta Rho Lambda Chapter has a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.

About Alpha Phi Alpha
Alpha Phi Alpha, the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American Men, was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of brotherhood among African descendants in this country. The visiionary founders known as the "Jewels" of the fraternity, are Henry Arthur Callis, Charles Henry Chapman, Eugene Kinckle Jones, George Biddle Kelly, Nathaniel Allison Murray, Robert Harold Ogle, and Vertner Woodson Tandy.
