First April Event - 5KBT:

Sunday April 7, 2024 10:00 a.m. Bolender Park, Elmira, ON

First up in 2024: an out-and-back 5k on the flat stone chip Kissing Bridge Trailway in Elmira, Ontario.

Run Pure + Simple is our no-bells series of races. These events offer great atmospheres with nothing extra, and are FREE to Run Waterloo members. For non-members, the entry fee is $15.

No swag, no food, no awards, just a certified and chiptimed 5k to get your spring into gear.

A simple, chip-timed and certified out-and-back 5k race with all the vibes but no t-shirts or finisher medals. Food and awards, if offered, are minimal. This event is FREE to Run Waterloo members.

Key Event Info

KIT PICKUP: Will take place only race day at the Kissing Bridge Trailway, Elmira from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. No race day entries.

RACE COURSE: A certified 2.5 km out-and-back course along the Kissing Bridge Trailway. The course is flat and well groomed.

START LOCATION: Due to construction in Bolender Park and thanks to Elmira Pet Products, park in their lot adjacent to the trail. 35 Martins Ln, Elmira, ON N3B 2Z5

REGISTRATION POLICY: All entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. There are no exceptions once a person has registered.

TIMING AND RESULTS: The event is chiptimed with reusable chips, so please return them after you finish. Results will be posted to results.runwaterloo.com after the race.
