Run Pure + Simple is our no-bells series of races. These events offer great atmospheres with nothing extra, and are FREE to Run Waterloo members.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or you've never toed the start line of a race, this event is for you! This is the sixth running of this great 1,609 metre event. Most people can walk a mile in 15-20 minutes.

No swag, no food, no awards, just a certified and chiptimed 5k to get your spring into gear.

A simple, chip-timed and certified mile race with all the vibes but no t-shirts or finisher medals. Food and awards, if offered, are minimal. This event is FREE to Run Waterloo members.

Key Event Info

KIT PICKUP: Will take place only race day in Victoria Park, Kitchener from 5:15 p.m. - 6:15 a.m. No race day entries.

COURSE: One loop and one partial loop in Victoria Park. Note that the park is not closed for the race, and there will be other park and trail users at the same time. We will have volunteers on-site to help inform the public. If you or your family want to help out, join our Course Crew!

START LOCATION: In Victoria Park. The first wave starts at 6pm. We will announce the waves once we have enough data from signups.

REGISTRATION POLICY: All entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. There are no exceptions once a person has registered. Strollers are not permitted on course.

TIMING AND RESULTS: The event is chiptimed with reusable chips, so please return them after you finish. Results will be posted to results.runwaterloo.com after the race.
