RACING TO A BRIGHTER TOMORROW
Join us for our 19th Annual Stride for Seniors at the Lake Harriet bandshell or virtually! At Walker Methodist our mission is Life. And all the living that goes with it. Enhancing the lives of older adults through a culture of care, respect, and service. Our 5k/10k Stride for Seniors helps raise funds to provide programs and services to over 3,000 residents and patients. Walker Methodist is a senior living organization providing housing, healthcare, rehabilitation, and services to older adults throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding communities.
Our annual 5k/10k is a USATF certified course and is electronically timed. This makes our course ideal for a qualifying run. Prizes are awarded to the top female and male finishers in each respective age category.
Can’t make it in person? Sign up for our virtual option! A race box including a Walker Methodist t-shirt and socks will be mailed to all virtual participants.
Join us as we work to provide life enriching programs and services for older adults in our communities regardless of income, physical limitations, or length of stay.
