My Story…
I'm a staff member at the Sheppard and have worked there for over 25 years. The Y helped me as a newcomer to Canada to find community to volunteer and find the work. For several years I have been participating in different campaigns and my efforts have helped raise several thousand dollars. The money raised in those campaigns it was used to assist needy children and youth to participate in activities where their families wouldn't be able to afford on their own. I'm looking forward to help again.
Description
I’m participating in this year’s YMCA Charity 5K because I believe all kids deserve a chance to experience the joy and adventures of camp and make some lasting memories in the great outdoors.
The YMCA’s goal this year is to raise enough money to ensure 500 more kids from the GTA get to have that awesome experience.
Will you please help me raise funds and reach my goal of sending a kid to camp? All contributions important and appreciated.
