The Grin & Bear It is Crested Butte’s oldest trail challenge. Historically presented as a sprint to Green Lake and back, this classic event has evolved to offer a 25k Loop competition, while still maintaining the traditional 15k Classic race.
The 2024 run will take place on July 13th.

The race starts and finishes at the Crested Butte Nordic Center – 620 2nd. Street, in downtown Crested Butte. Enjoy a challenging climb to Green Lake and take a plunge before heading back down to town. Read a full description on the event website.
