It's a 30-day challenge filled with trail running and basic strength workouts mixed in with bonus challenges, fun activities, and wonderful like-minded individuals. The Chilly Challenge is a great way to prepare for an epic race season or just an awesome kickstart to Spring. 🌸⛅️ It's guaranteed to be a blast, and you'll be getting fitter, faster, and stronger along the way for only $1 a day!

THE DETAILS 📝
You'll receive an email when you register with the information needed to get started. The confirmation email will have links to the Chilly Challenge Facebook Group and the Progress Tracking Sheet and details about when you'll receive your next email.
Once the challenge is started, you can expect to receive an email every Sunday outlining what your weekly challenge is and linking any resources that you need for the challenge. For Week 1, we'll send out the email outlining your first challenge early so you can get prepared and get excited!!
The challenge will be split into a warm-up period and 4 weeks of activities. Each week will have an overarching challenge with some daily tasks planned within the week. The challenges are meant to be fun, with a side of fitness best served 'chilly'. ☃️
Let's get right to it - a preview of the challenges!! Every week is meant to encourage you to push your limits, connect with other wonderful trail runners, and chase the chilly right outta town as we welcome Spring!! (100% Cheesy, I know.)
The Warm-Up (March 1-3): The first three days will be "the warm-up" where we'll get to know each other, get familiar with how the challenge works, join the Progress Tracking Sheet and the Facebook Group, and answer any questions that are out there. There will be optional fun little shakeout activities each warm-up day to get us started, and then we're off to the races!
Week 1 - Cool Runnings (March 4-10): "Feel the Rhythm, Feel the Rhyme!". This week we're getting into our rhythm, and finding our groove with both running and some bodyweight exercises.
Week 2 - Happy Feet (March 11-17): In addition to regular programming of running and bodyweight work, we're going to mix in some agility by scouring the trails for sticks, rocks, and other things and creating an agility workout out of them!
Week 3 - Wellness Week (March 18-24): More fluidity this week, recovery runs, and a fun bonus challenge that will help prepare us for the task ahead. We'll still be keeping our consistency up this week, so don't be fooled by the name.
Week 4 - Into The Wild (March 25-31): Testing our knowledge of some fun creatures, plants, and animals around us while we finish off our fitness fiesta!
PRIZES 🎊
At the end of the week, all of the participants who completed the week's activity will be entered into a draw for prizes from our Heads or Trails sponsors! The prize draw winners will be announced on our Instagram/Facebook page as well as included in the weekly challenge email on Sunday night, so make sure you're following along with our social pages and reading the emails! Details on how to collect prizes will be sent to challenge participants in week 1.

FAQs:
- You can take part in this challenge from ANYWHERE! While it might not be winter where you are, you're more than welcome to join the fun and make the season you're in the best it can be.
- All skill levels are welcome! You do not need to be a seasoned trail runner to take part. This is one of the best places you could be if you're just dipping your toes in and trying to see if you're interested in making trail running a part of your life. The people who take part in these challenges are always so awesome!! And, all of the challenges can be modified, and are meant to suit all skill levels. If it's your first day or if you've been at this for years, you're welcome here.
- You cannot fail the challenge. It's just not a thing. The purpose of this challenge is to build each other up and to add another building block to our foundation. So if you're worried about what happens if you get behind or miss a day, worry no more. There's no better place to be than here, and no one is judging anyone else.

30 days to build on your strength and cardio foundation while having one heck of a good time!! You will find chances to enjoy your backyard wherever you are, share the trails with those around you, and challenge yourself in your own goals all while being part of a community of runners making their way through each of these activities. We can't wait to see the fun from various geographical regions!
